Asking For Self, Female 39, kamra,
surgical specialists write two test.please what is difference between FNAC and usg guided FNAC
it's same test, only difference is technique, one is done with help of ultrasound machine and in other method without ultrasound machine guidance
sama test done with two different techniques.
ultrasound guided FNAc is done under direct vision via Ultrasound
Same test .but ultrasound guided is done with the help of ultrasound.
Its a procedure for biopsy guided means to colllect tissue
as nosy doctors explained u very well, go for usg guide fnac
Hi ! Do you need advice OR diagnosis? because both are different
FNAC is an abbreviation for fine needle aspiration cytology, and usg is an abbreviation of ultrasound.
In simple language, FNAC is a simple test done with just a needle, and in usg guided FNAC, ultrasound is used along with the needle, so chances of error are minimal.

The cells show abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm and nuclear enlargement with pleomorphism. Few scattered foamy histiocytes and colloid is seen in a hemorrhagic background . there is prominent drying and fixation artefact limited evaluation of nuclear features) now what I will do?
