Kindly maybe there is underlying bleeding even without black stool . Maybe he will need endoscopy so contact gastroenterologist and Internal Medicine Dr. Also is there any other medicine he is taking.
Hello..!!! Anemia is very common in such patients.. if you have done his iron profile, please share the reports.. In this case, we need to see the cause of anemia.. and treat that.. if God forbid he starts bleeding, and Hb drops below 6, then we need to transfuse blood.. His platelets are fine??

7.9 it a bura nahi hai is liye pehle ye zaruri hai k source of bleeding ko identify Kia Jaye, is k liye ap kisi general surgery/medicine ki OPD m dikhaden ta k endoscopy ya colonoscopy ho sake.
Urgently visit a gastroenterologist. The cause of blood loss needs to be found. He will need blood transfusions too possibly.
