Talk to General Practitioner on Neck Movement And Arthritis

My mother is a patient of arthritis for many years and often have joint pain but from sometime I have noticed that her neck moves a bit like you are slowly moving ur head aside involuntarily and iam quite concerned about it please guide me which doctor shud I consult like which specialty orthopedic or nuero? Because my mother thinks it is due to weakness of muscles and joint in her neck but i really want it to be checked by a specialist Thank you

Kindly get a Xray neck AP and lateral view alongwith serum Calcium , phosphate levels and consult a specialist rheumatologist and a physiotherapist as this can be due to age related myopathy.

It's better that you consult a neurophysician. If she has been taking any medication for arthritis then consult your orthopaedic/ rheumatologist to revise her prescription.
go for her mri cervical spine and if it's possible share report with me and also watsapp me her previous record

Dont visit any neurophysician or orthopedic surgeon,,,,Rheumayologist is the concerned physician which deals joint related problems better than anyone else.
