I am an asthma patient and a thalassemia minor as well, can i have covid vaccine ? As i heard about someone who was asthmatic and the doctors didnt vaccinated them, is it safe for asthma patients to get vaccinated? I am thalassemia minor also
Covid vaccine can be given in both conditions unless you have allergy to the vaccine. Thalassemia patients were not included in vaccine trials, but it is believed that the vaccine should be able to protect them against covid also, and is generally considered safe. This is the public health and medical research perspective. However, I would advise that you consult your hematologist before opting for vaccination.
U can get sinopharm vaccine, but better consult hematologist
bronchial asthma & thalesemia are not absolute contra indication for covid vaccination, not any medical guidelines indicate not to vaccinate in both of diseases mentioned you,it's better to keep in touch with your hematologic
its not proven to be contraindicated yet

Just have your shot. Allergies to Covid vaccines are rare. You'll never know until you get it done :)
