are plastic cutting boards used to cut vegetables in kitchen safe to use? I have seen these white plastic cutting boards being used a lot in saudi arabia. I am concerned for my health since i eat most of the times from hotels and they all use these cutting boards. Is it possible that some plastic goes into our food when its cut on these plastic cutting boards, and can it cause cancer to us? Or are these plastic cutting boards safe to use? Please help.Â

I am not sure if alot of places use white cutting board, but I can tell you this, eating everyday from an outside restaurant can be unhealthy in a lot of other ways. I would suggest that you may buy a few utensils and groceries and try to make food for yourself a few times. Regarding the plastic in the food, I highly doubt its in such a quantity that it may harm someone in one lifetime. I may be wrong, but this is my 5 cents on this matter
