2 years ago my father was suffering from Annal fissure, which was diagnosed by general surgeon. After that Dr recommended a Diltiazem 2% cream. My father used that for 2 months and got relax from this disease. Now again this issue has come and father is using Diltiazem cream but not getting well.

can go for surgery if patient fit for surgery but needs proper examination
recurrence of anal fissure is generally due to constipation..
is he suffering from chronic constipation?
