Treatment of stage 4 breast cancer is always palliative and it includes chemotherapy...we want to decrease the Tumor load and ease the patient out...it’s better to consult an oncologist nearby

Hormone therapy is possible if receptor positive but it’s not the replacement of chemotherapy...both have different modes of treatment

Treatment of stage 4 is always palliative and supportive. Get her biopsy done with receptor status. If her receptors are positive then You can also discuss the option of tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitors with the oncologist.

Thanx a lot. We can bypass chemotherapy and opt for hormone therapy if biopsy show receptor positive.

its stage 4, metastatic CA breast, needs chemotherapy, palliative treatment will run side by side for any emerging symptoms of any organ/region. if you understand palliative treatment as removal of breast only, it will not help.

assalam o alaikum, no benefit of surgery in this case, only if there is an ulcer of breast, palliative treatment with chemo is best option

have you got her biopsy reports? well some type of tumor entirely vanish with chemo. but oncologist will guide you better. and if tumor does not vanish it will shrink so surgery would be easy
