Asking for Self, Female, 23 years old, Hyderabad
There's a lump in my thyroid, it looks ball-like structure. It's been diagnosed as eurothyroid. Is there any cure to get rid of it. The doctor said it will remain lifelong. Its growing and is hard when touched.
Pls consult general surgeon for further investigations
The lump or nodule in the thyroid needs to be seen by a surgeon and should be evaluated further by Ultrasound, FNAC or thyroid scan . In case of doubt it should be removed for histopathology.
It may be a Thyroid Gland and it may require treatment. But final comment can be made only after examining that Swelling.

Asa This is something which needs investigated. The aim would be to rule out any thing sinister. I would suggest a clinical appointment followed by some tests which are essential. Please don’t let it go.
Please get the following investigations
1. Ultrasound neck
2. Thyroid function test
And when the results are available please consult an endocrinologist for opinion who may refer you for surgery or may advise you to take some.medicines
But investigations first please
Dear brother,
Although you are euthyroid and there is a module in your right or let love of thyroid, but it needs further investigations to exclude malignant from benign lesion.
Thanks,
Best wishes for your good health.

Must hv fnac to confirm tissue diagnosis . Even if it turns out to benign disease , the lump must b removed to prevent future complications
You will need surgery. Consult a general surgeon
