A week ago I got develop a lump on my external ear about the size of a jaman. No ointments are working on it. It occupies huge space in my ear and now it became painful. What should be it's reasons, treatment and precautions? Please elaborate.

If you upload picture, diagnosis will be clear. From information given, it looks like "Otitis externa". Take Tab Augmentin 625 mg, 3 times daily and Tab Dicloran 50 mg twice daily for 2 days. If improved, continue for 10 days. if not improved, need incision
