aoa my mother age 49 have diagnosed with 2 hernia she's having vericose vein issue already for many many years and have gallbladder removed almost 7 8 years back she have high BP issues that runs in the family now she's constantly having pain and uncomfortable to sit even so she's thinking of going into surgery her Dr suggested these 2 options for her kindly guide if the hernia surgery is risky? and what option should she opt for
patient will be assessed by Anesthetist for risk of surgery
It depends which hernia it is femoral inguinal or umbilical because few of them are easy and after surgery recovery is quick but few of them are difficult and might cut through some muscles making recovery difficult.
if you tell me the hernia type I can let you know if you should take the route of surgery or not
mesh repair kra len it's better and it's not a major operation usually,
