yes, Possibility of Pancreatitis is there even after cholecystectomy, even if other causes are not present. bcs Bile is lithogenic, so the drug which decreases lithogenecity should be used. If patient is using cholesterol lowering drug then it is mandatory to use drug which decreases lithogenecity.

Yes if there are causes other than gallstones . But get the gall bladder removed first
if no other cause then very low chance
