One of my relative suffer from paraumbilical Hernia.. She is 37 and her weight is 125 kg.. Doc ask her to lose weight before undergoing surgery but she is suffering sever pain.. is it necessary to lose weighy before surgery? suggest best surgeon in the town who can handle this condition

The doctor suggested rightly It’s better to loose weight before surgery . But if hernia is causing pain then get operated ASAP. Any good surgeon in ur town will b able to handle this as mesh hernia Plasty open / Laproscopic is common procedure
