I've had my laproscopic cholecystectomy on June 7,2021. İt's been more than a month and I've few concerns since my surgeon did not brief me before and after surgery.
I'm facing a sudden cramp in my right side above umbilicus. İt comes stays a while then goes like a wave. Sometimes there times a day sometimes less.
Second, I have resumed walking and when I walk for more than an hour I feel discomfort in my right ribs where gallbladder once lived.
Third, my incisions have healed well but epigastric port incision burns when I lift something or early in the morning after night sleep. I feel it's no major issue but still to be aware is good. So I would love to know your opinion thank you.
These are normal post operative symptoms. Nothing to worry about. Will go away within a month or so.

Thank you for your important queries. Wound healing takes 6 to 8 weeks . Initially wounds may be sensitive to touch or on exercise. So nothing to worry about discomfort u have in epigastric port and on right side. But crampy pain on right side above umbilicus can not be explained after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Needs to be followed up and further x ray or USG abdomen needs to be done for further evaluation
That is good to discuss ultrasound is first and good option in expert hands.
if not giving information than CT scan may be done.
Start Cap. Nexum 40 od
apply Frubin cream over area of pain
Limit your walk not stop untill complete healing minimum 3 months.
Thanks
