Talk to Gynecologist on Anancephalic Fetus History
Asking For Self, Female 30, Islamabad
I have two abortions due to anancephalic fetus. Now dr recommend these test when i insist on the cause of my problem otherwise she said its wastage of money we did these for satisfaction. I want to know the cause bcoz i have no problem no family history no sugar no other issue then why. I was taking supplements also. Folic acid ka itna b kia lack hogya k 2 bar yi masla aya. Within 7 months gap. Plz help

These tests are not indicated for anencephaly. Folic acid intake 3-4 months before pregnancy is recommended as it reduces the chances. The only test needed is GTT. Mother being diabetic can cause neural tube defects. Genetic or chromosome analysis of the baby may have been done. In most cases cause is not known unfortunately.
