Talk to Gynecologist on Birth Control
Asking for Wife, Female, 32 years old, University Campus
Assalam O Alaikum Dr saab I want to seek an advice regarding the Tubal Ligation treatment for my my Wife. She is 32 years old and a mother of 3 children aging 6 yrs,4 yrs and a 10 month baby. she has undergone cesarean process three times. I would like to ask you here whether it would be appropriate now to adopt the tubal ligation method or still she may wait. Further will there be any involvement of risk/complication taking in account her past history of surgeries (Cesarean).

What is the age of your wife.
Tubal ligation is an invasive procedure...
I would suggest to go for IUCD ( copper T) which is a contraception for 10
years...
This is an out door procedure...
And removal is also safe....
Other option is implanon, gives protection for 3 years...

Dear sir tubal ligation is a simple procedure performed under GA it takes about 15 min to do . It usually has no complications . The pt may need yo stay in hosp for one night. Regards Shaheena
