Talk to Gynecologist on Bleeding In Early Pregnancy?

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Accra

Hi,

I'm expecting to have conceived. I had unprotected sex 5 days to my ovulation date and I started experiencing cramps, knee pain, waist pain and nausea since the day of my ovulation. I also experienced constipation, bloating and frequent urination.

Yesterday was day 13 after ovulation and 1 day before my period was supposed to begin. I started bleeding bright red in the morning which progressed to deep red during the day, but it wasn't a heavy flow. I experienced bad cramps. I couldn't finish a meal; I felt both nauseous and like visiting the loo but I was fortunate enough to have the chance of doing just one of them. I chose the latter. I occasionally visited the washroom in the night due to the same feeling. I couldn't get near food without feeling nauseous. I usually experience PMS symptoms of cramps, nausea and an upset stomach but it's never been this extreme, especially with food. Today (when my period is actually supposed to begin), the cramping is almost unnoticeable
