Talk to Gynecologist on Breast Pain

I am having in left breast from 1 year. I didn't breastfeed my baby due to some reasons. He is now 2.3 years. He didn't not take milk from left side and the milk color was thick yellowish unlike right breast. My ultrasound and mammogram are clear. Surgeon said there is thickening of breast tissue on clinical examination and said its benign and pain is mastalgia. I feel pain when i touch on that specific area of left breast and generalized pain before periods. What should i do know? Need your kind opinion
