Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, London

Hi,

I have been trying to conceive for past 3 years. Have had 2 miscarriages. I am a hypothyroid patient, with a dosage of 100 mcg levothyroxine. I want to ask, as i am not conceiving, is it due to thyroid. My tsh is 4.5 at the moment. Please let me know the ideal tsh level for conception and how tsh impacts pregnancy and conception? Thanks

Hypothyroidism could be the likely cause if everything is normal. Its better to get it in the mid of the range your lab uses.

The patients with hypothyroidism need to keep laison with endocrinologist. The usually conceive in due course of time and do well in pregnancy.

All the best
