Talk to Gynecologist on Cousin Marriages

Just read article posted on marham.pk or its fb page regarding diseases/complications in offsprings of cousins and few were listed including thallesimia, down syndrome, autism etc.
My question is are there any test to be conducted before marriage, so that there won't be any defect in child, just like there is test of thallesimia, do we have any test list. As we see diseases are getting common especially autism
