Talk to Gynecologist on Dry Cough During Pregnancy

Hi , My wife is 16 weeks pregnant, she had fever few days before , fever gone in couple of days , after that she start coughing and now it’s 4 days she is having severe dry cough . She is already taking tab osteocare and fefol vit . Which tab is good for dry cough or any good syrup . She had the history of bad coughing , her cough normally lasts around 2 weeks , but this time is during pregnancy.plz suggest any good medication. Many thanks in advance for your assistance.
