Talk to Gynecologist on Early Pregnancy
Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, Lahore
Aoa. Its my 3rd pregnancy. I have 2 girls before 7 and 5 years old with Completely normal delivery. My LMP is 8th august and in ultrasound its showing 5 weeks. My Dr. suggested me to take Fourfolic and Duphaston. i want to ask if Duphaston necessary to take or its just optional? Its not weak pregnancy as the dr didn't saud anything about it. Till which month it is to continue?

if there is no history of miscarriage or spotting in early pregnancy no need for duphaston if started need to continue till third month

It means we cannot stop its intake till 3rd month once started.. I have not at all issue of miscarriage or weak pregnancy or spotting. It means i shouldn't start it.
