My close relative is 45+ years old and is diabetic although the sugar levels are controlled. She was diagnosed with having fibroids 2 years ago. At that time, they were of pea-size. Now she has undergone ultrasound again and the size hasn't increased at all. Since the past 2 months, she had excessive bleeding and on consultation, doctors told her to take Primolut N to reduce and eventually stop bleeding when she is not on the menstrual cycle. Last evening she experienced mild pain in the lower abdomen. These days she has her periods date but she is still taking this medicine. Today morning, she experienced unbearable pain and was taken to emergency. She is discharged now everything seems fine. Doctors said it might be due to food poison.
