Talk to Gynecologist on Follicle In Left Ovary(1.2 Cm)

I'm unmarried 22 age girl . Today an ultrasound shows that there is a dominant follicle measuring 1.2 cm in my left ovary. I would like to know what it means? i am confused, what's actually happening with me.kindly Guide me
Do u have any symptoms? Why was the USG done and did the sonologist provide any further information?
it means nothing , why u went for ultrasound ? this is a normal scan , there has to be a dominant follicle in either ovary for ovulation every month . it has nothing to do with either u are married or not
its normal..during ovulatory phase u can feel ha mild kind o pain..follicles r normally presnt in reproductive age before mensis
