Asking for Self, Female, 24 years old, Islamabad
I am 6 weeks pregnant. Previous week i had a scan and doctor said there is fetal activity shown via ultrasound. After 2 days i felt cramps and spotting. I again visited doctor. She asked me to do TVS and in that scan there is no fetal activity. She advised me to take cyclogest and dupheston. After starting medicine there are no cramps and spotting but a slight whitish discharge. She advised me to repeat scan after 1 week.. is my fetus normal?
weight? ultrasound/test kraya?if yes share reports? med li koi?
it is so early to say whether fetus is normal or not , needs further ultrasound to confirm
scan after 2 weks
It is not possible to tell exactly about this. For definit results, you should wait for 2weeks with all precautions and complete bed rest and repeat scan after 2 weeks can tell you that baby has developed heart beat.
You repeat TVS after 10-14 days for viability & visit gynaecologist with report
Seems to be missed miscarriage b/c cardiac activity doesn’t disappear once seen in normal fetus
FCA doesn’t disappear once positive

right now the concern is about viability of pregnancy .if the previous scan showed a cardiac activity that is not shown in present ultrasound then it may indicate a missed miscarriage but I have not seen your previous ultrasound to be sure so the best course of action now is to repeat ultrasound after 2 weeks to see fetal cardiac activity.if it is present after two weeks then viability is there and then u need to do a NT scan at 10 to 12 weeks.if no cardiac activity and growth of fetus after two weeks then it means a missed miscarriage meaning that the pregnancy failed to grow further.
