Assalam u alaikum It's my 2nd pregnancy, I delivered my first baby in 2019 through cesarean section (I was induced at 39+5 weeks, during which baby passed meconium ) Right now I am 37 weeks pregnant, I want to ask about natural birth if all other things are normal. How long can I wait for natural pains or can I go for induction? My current doctor suggested me operate in 39 weeks if natural pains didn't happen.

Asalamualaikum, if everything is fine then you have 75 percent chance of normal delivery and you can wait uptil 40 weeks even beyond provided all parts of your examination and history, investigation are normal

failed induction and meconium fetal distress makes the case for a repeat chance of c section however there are no hard and fast rules in obstetrics .
kindly do doppler ultrasound and find out fetal condition rule out placental adherence and confirm placental position. also find about estimated fetal weight and assess cervix .you may also check scar thickness.
there should be clear cut information about your blood pressure and glycemic control
what was the weight of your previous baby and what medicine was used for your induction
