Talk to Gynecologist on Heavy Bleeding

My issue is my last periods in june were very light and ended 11 days. Then, after a week off and now spotting started since 22july which turned into light bleeding till 31st july and then from 1st August, it's been bleeding heavily with clots. Today is my 4th day and still heavy bleeding with clots(soaking a tampon in an hour) Is there something to be concerned about. Should I immediately go to doctor or wait till the appointment day? Its after 7 days. Already took a pregnancy test it was negative. Age 37 1kid. Pcos in both ovaries. Weight 64 Low iron levels are already taking supplements for it. No other medical conditions.
