My prolactin level range is 4100 before my marriage i had high prolactin level due to which had tumor also but by the treatment n brotin med am recoverd after i got pregnant i stopped taking med n after completing my breast feeding for at least 15 months i was ttc since 6 months but no success so went to doc n she suggest me to repeat prolactin test which is high now am worried n tensed that again i have tumor r during this procedure i would nt gt pregnant???

you would need to get seen by the endocrionology for the assessment and advice.
Women who are not pregnant and are not breastfeeding should have low levels of prolactin. ... Women in this category may experience infrequent or irregular periods. Women with the mildest cases involving high prolactin levels may ovulate regularly but not produce enough of the hormone progesterone after ovulation.
Consider eating more foods containing vitamin B6, such as potatoes, bananas, wild salmon, chicken and spinach. Also, according to a study published in "The Lancet," supplementation with zinc decreased prolactin levels in the participants. Foods high in zinc include shellfish, beef, turkey and beans.
As you have told us that you had a prior history of a tumor, there is no harm in getting your X Ray of the skull done .
