Its safe but it takes time and more doses..multiple infusions..you can take oral too its 20 weeks you dont have to get an emergency laod of iron

ferroxyma is almost 2500 Rs and its counterpart is ferrinject which is almost 6000. they increase hb to a greater extent as compared to venofer . Venofer is absolutely ok and cheaper but its repeated doses wil be needed to attain the same Hb rise . Take care

No need of i/v iron at this gestational age with 8.5 Hb you take oral iron regularly like Tab Ferrous sulphate twice daily

u can take oral iron,plus improve ur diet,in this way u can improve ur hb,otherwise u can use inj FCM which is cheaper
