Talk to Gynecologist on Irregular Periods
Asking for Self, Female, 20 years old, Hyderabad
I am 20 years old and unmarried. I suffer irregularity of periods since puberty like a gape of 3 to 4 months. Even once 8 months, but my doctor said to relax until the age of 18, then doctor said i have pcos, now whenever i am taking pills periods are induced otherwise not. As per my first report fsh was 8 and lh was 15. i took Diane-35 for 3 mnths. I got regular periods for 3 mnths on medicine but after i left taking pill i didnt get my period but heavy brown discharge in which i tested for LH and FSH where my LH was 25 nd FSH was 4. My doctor said dont take medicines now on because you are unmarried too, Just wait for 3 mnths if periods are not coming then take duphaston for 10 days nd then after 3 mnths duphaston. When i went for ultrasound. Doc said u donot have PCOS you have another hormonal issue. Now what should i do. I am confused.

But my doc said you have this hereditary issue. And it wont b settled by a treatment and so u r unmarried dont go for medicines like diane 35 until u get married. What do you suggest?
