i have 3 years old daughter with normal delivery.. now i am 8 mnths pregnant having low lying placenta with 2cm..Doctor suggest me to operate...DO I NEED OPERATE?? Kindly give me ans..
you still have sometime fo upward migration of placenta...if no bleeding occurs repeat US at 37weeks
it is possibility placenta migrate upward .repeat scan at 36 wks with full bladder .then final desician can be made.it also depends weither anterior or posterior placenta.in posterior ,chance if c.section is more
not needed now. if no bleeding wait till 37weeks n repeat scan if still placenta low lying upto 2cm near os then c/section indicated .
u have still time till 37 weeks to migrate placenta upward if no bleeding.. so repeat scan around 36-37weeks if still placenta low lying within 2cm to os than c/section indicated

Repeat Ultrasound on 36 wks ,the final decision regarding the mode of delivery will be on that usg.If urs placenta move up then u may have a chance for normal delivery.Good luck
Get a doppler usg done at 36 weeks to see status of placenta. Then decide.
