any evidence for use of chocolate to manage dysmenorrhea?
in such case no one in Europe should suffer this though its common .I think we should stop fooling our patients and be sincere with them.

treatment options are
1/ use meds like mefnemic acd 500mg tds during periods if they are heavy use tranxemic acid 1 g tds
alternate option is to conceder contraceptive pill this can help with painful heavy periods

She is facing difficulty in having periods just spoting and also the pregnancy strip is showing positive. We are not planning for any baby.

What to do in such situation.? Please advise..

if the pregnancy test is positive she has cramp like pain and having spotting or p/v bleed she might be having miscarriage
you probably will be better of consulting a gynaecologist dealing with early pregnency assessments .first confirm pregnancy you can send blood sample for B hcg levels.
