Talk to Gynecologist on Medicine During Pregnancy
Asking for Self, Female, 25 years old, Karachi
AoA..i am 5 weeks pregnant. I went to a gynecologist she advised me to take tablet SI-Gest for pregnancy protection along with tablet Myfol and abocal. She didn't took any scan or physical examination. So is it safe to take these medicines specially tablet Si-Gest?

any previous history of miscarriage or having any spotting?
take folic acid daily.
get your ultrasound done for gestational sac and cardiac flicker done within week or two.
take healthy diet,proper sleep and stay well hydrated

progesterone support is given in weak pregnancies,it has no side effects related to fetus.
anyways in your case there seems to be no need of any progesterone support.
continue folic acid 400 mcg till 3 month of pregnancy
