Question

I am currently 34 weeks + pregnant .At 32 weeks my hb was 11.1g/dl and ferritin was 10.74ng/ml.I am on 100mg elemental iron daily along with follic acid and good diet..
At this hb and ferritin there is indication of I/V iron?
Should I repeat my hb again at 36 weeks?
Is ferritin level 10 is dangerous?

u r having iron deficiency  anemia,  if ur hb is 11.1, there isnt indication for i/v iron

I think your Hb is almost fine. No need for i.v iron injections. . Keep on taking elemental iron and iron containing diet.

Get your Hb at 36 weeks . No harm in it.

Thank you for reply I had my repeat CBC at 36+02 weeks hb is same as that of 32 weeks 11.1g/dl and ferritin is 8.76ng/ml..

Mam can you guide me that this ferritin 8.76ng/ml  is low in pregnancy??

Better to repeat it at 36 wks 10 hb is low
