Talk to Gynecologist on Ovarian Simple Cyst 12 Cm

I have a cyst in my left ovary of 12cm I met two gynaecologists to conceive but they did not give me any treatment to conceive or related to cyst and recommended me to go for laparoscopic surgery to remove it but they also said its simple cyst now I came to another gynaecologist she recommended me to take birth control pills for two three months and after month she will do ultrasound but she suggest not to do any kind of heavy exercise . Should I go for birth control or surgery?
