Talk to Gynecologist on Periods Delaying
Asking for Sister, Female, 38 years old, dubai
assalam alikom my sister has been taking progylution for one year and she has to go for umrah this month but her period date is coming in between so question is that how can she delay her periods more after this medicine can she take primolute n after progyluton for delaying periods.

salam,
if your sister would like to delay her period then she need to take Prmilout N 5 mg three times a day 3-4 days before she is due for the period.
and to carry on till the time she wants to delay it.
once she stops the medication , her normal cycle should start.

thank u so much dr.Farheen for instant reply.i want to know one more thing like u said she has to take prmilout N 3-4 days before periods.so it is ok to take two medicine at a time like progylution and primoluteN..
because when she finishes taking progylution ,periods starts from next day it means she has to take primolute N 3-4 days before periods with progylution.
