Hi, at my 20th week scan , it was detected that my placenta is covering my cervix completely. The snographer didn’t seem worried and booked again for 32 weeks scan. I was nit advise any pelvic rest or bed rest , however i was wondering if i can take little bit more care and rest as much as i can . Will this help ? I have had no bleeding so far . And anything that i should be careful about or something that can help in resolving previa?? Plus i want to know if complete previa is detected at 20w is there still chance it will move away or chances are very slim that i will have normal delivery. This is my 4th pregnancy ( one boy and 2 mc previously) . Thanks
aoa...Three are 20 percent chance that at this time of pregnancy patient can have low lying placenta..80 percent chances are there that it will move upwards with pregnancy advance ..no need to take extra care .just avoid heavy work...routine activities will not effect it...final decision will be on 32#week scan
Aoa
in sha Allah it ll go up...if it remains in the lower segment then u shud scan urself to rule out its morbid adherence...may b u were evacuted surgically leading to above mentioned condition...but it might nt b the case as well becoz incidence wth surgical evacuation has nt come into my experience yet...anyways hope fr the best in sha Allah placenta ll go up as the pregnancy proceeds...
for previa i always say to avoid bumps and jumps...keep an eye on ur discharge vaginally...avoid squatting etc etc...
take care and hv happy pregnancy...

I had normal delivery at my sons time but my placenta wasn’t completely removed so they had to remove manually
