Asking for Self, Female, 26 years old, Karachi

Dr I am 27 weeks + 5 days pregnant, and its my first pregnancy. I have gestation diabetes. 181mg/dl is my GCT result. I am taking glucophage 500mg 2 times a day by my gynae advice. my bump is not that visible, is that mean k baby chota hai aur uska wait km hai? as last mera anomaly scan 20 weeks me hua tha dr ne kaha tha sb thk hai pr reports me weight ni lkha hua tha.

aur i heard k gestational diabetes me excessive water fluid hojata hai, ussey baby ko koi masla hota hai? aur kese pta chleyga k excessive fluid hai? I have to go to the gynae after eid, so pls tell me

if you keep your blood sugar levels under control, it will not cause much problems. fluid is increased when sugar goes high. for weight of the baby, get an ultrasound for estimated fetal weight

U need to have a growth scan when u see ur doctor next. How is ur sugar control? Are u monitoring it? Thanks

How is your blood sugar now? Take medicine regularly after visits with your gynaecologist. You can ask for growth scan and estimated fetal weight . Monitoring is must to achieve healthy pregnancy outcome.

If everything is normal , then don't worry about showing of the bump . you might be tall or your musculature is strong that's why bump is not that much visible . And why to worry about excessive fluid if it's not present.
