Talk to Gynecologist on Pregnancy Problem

My wife gave birth to a son two years ago through an operation, now we are planning for another child but the pregnancy is not progressing. We consulted a doctor but there was no benefit. The wife has been prescribed a period of five years, so we asked this doctor, and he said, "I have not prescribed any period, now tell me some test that will tell us whether there is a period or not."
