Dr. I am 18 weeks pregnant. My gynaecologist has told me i have dehydration and fluid for baby is very less. I am taking adequate water now. Please tell me how can i monitor fluid level for baby? Is there any test?
Aoa baby needs follow up scan that is growing normal. Thanks
regular ultrasound scanning for baby growth
dehydration means not ur water less it's mean baby water less for which u should improve ur diet n do regular scan as baby growth become difficult.but u should consult online too.
only test to see fluid is ultrasound, so keep getting scans as yoyr dr suggests
Baby fluid can only be calculated by ultrasound. You are 18 weeks so you should get your ultrasound naming ANOMALY SCAN done. It will show things in detail
Fluid around baby is not related to your drinking water. There may be some other problem. Get consultation from a consultant gynaecologist and detailed anomaly scan for Fetal kidneys by a specialist.
Aoa
go for anomaly scan by a proper sonologist...do inform your attending gynaecologist if liquor around the baby turns out to be less In it too...keeping urself hydrated duznt work much in this scenario...if liquor is less and ur baby is normal then there r certain other medications tht can fix the problem...
