Prolactin is a hormone that is secreted by the pituitary gland present in
the brain... it's main function comes into play when a mother is lactating
and it's levels r usually very low in non lactating women.. the levels hav
to be normal for ovulation to take place and hence conception .. so if the
doctor has prescribed medicine to reduce the hormone level then the
medicine must be used for the desired results
