Asking for Mother, Female, 48 years old, Sialkot
Asalaam o allaikum doctor I want to ask you a question about my mother that recently she has undergone through her CBC and urine test and her haemoglobin is 12.1 but protein positive in the urine . She was asked by a well-known gynaecologist to go for these tests . As she is suffering for about to 5 to 6 months with blood spotting after the urine and for about one and a half year back she has undergone through a urine artery embolization procedure.. The symptoms she is facing are weakness, irregular sleep cycles. Ankle pain , shortness of breath and also anemia .. so please guide me what .. whether I should bring for an appointment with you ..

before doing urine test she has to wash her down below her private parts with water and pass ist urine in toilet and after that second void she should passed in bottle for urine test to avoid contamination.
therefore some times protein postive the method of collection of urine sample was wrong .
if she has vaginal discharge it will also give false results.
so repeat test with correct method.
her symptoms are due to perimenopause.
her hemoglobin is good 12 gm so she isnot anemic.
whats her weight.if she is overweight it will ankle pain.
she should go for morning or evening walk regularly .
