Talk to Gynecologist on Scanty Periods On 1st Day

Aoa drs in house, i experience scanty period flow usually not always for 1, 2 day before periods. After which normal periods flow starts and it lasts for 6-7days. I dont count this scanty flow in my periods because they rarely soak my pad.is it normal? i am not facing hirsutism or weight gain. was having fluid in cul de sac with no symptoms 1 yr before for which drs say its normal need no treatment. I'm unmarried. is this scanty flow normal? is it related to fluid in cul de sac.
