currently I'm 15+2 weeks pregnant. I have done Anomaly scan. my cervix length is 50. But doctor suggested me cerclage. I'm not willing for this. He gives me a medicine cyclogist 400 mg to use vaginally. Before this i have four miscarriages at 7 to 8 week. Is this medicine safe to use? or would i go towards cerclage? please give your kind suggestions
Medicine is safe, cervical length should be checked by TVS scan by an experienced radiologist. If 5 cm, cerclage is not recommended.
1st trimester miscarriages occur due to many other causes, did you go for other workup?for history inducated cerclage you need to book appointment physically.
At this cervical length and previous first trimester early miscarriages cerclage is not recommended. u should continue cyclgest and do serial cervical length scans to see if this length stays OK and cervix is not shortening or opening
