Talk to Gynecologist on Uti And Pregnancy
Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, Karachi
I have hypothyroid and pcos.
5 days ago, i had extreme pain in urination, went to aga khan emergency, there UTI was confirmed (E coli) along with pregnancy, hcg was 120, doctor prescribed cefspan 400 mg for 3 days (please note i had blood in urine) Came home, pain subsided, after 4 days repeated hcg n result was 533 hcg. But again i felt same pain in vagina n later in urine, means uti was bck Then also i had spotting continued since last 4 days, dark brown colored, Went to aga khan karimabd emergency, doctr said I was given vrry less antibiotic for e coli, 3 days wasnt sufficient but nothing can be done now. Please suggest, if i should be prescribed antibiotics again for proper UTI clean? Or not

Dear doctors thank you for your comments, my pregnancy was Ectopic and it was terminated via methrotrexate injection. Alhamdulillah my hcg levels droped.
