Hello doctors,
I'm 27 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing recurring UTI symptoms, including painful and burning urination, since my first trimester. Despite using antibiotics, which provided temporary relief, the issue persists. I'm concerned about repeatedly using antibiotics and wonder if cranberry sachets can offer relief. Are they safe to use during pregnancy, and do they have any side effects?
Note: I'm exhausted from repeatedly visiting the hospital for checkups and tests. Please advise me on a safe and effective solution to overcome this persistent issue also UTI is not severe
Salam ,Have you checked your urine analysis and showed nitrites and leukocytes. If positive then need culture and sensitivity, and need antibiotics according to sensitivity. Also need to ensure that you you don’t have coexisting vaginal infection interms of fungal infection which may cause urinary problems.

w. salam Thank you for reply. According to the report, nitrite and leukocyte tests are negative, and there are trace amounts of blood/hemoglobin and protein. There are 2-3 epithelial cells present, and an increased amount of mucous (++).
