Talk to Gynecologist on Xray In Pregnancy
Asking for Self, Female, 25 years old, Multan
I have done chest xray with abdominal shield in 5th weeks of pregnancy. is it safe , I have also went for anomalies scan in 20th week of pregnancy , the report says (heart, kidney, liver, lungs) looks fine. is there any other test, we can go for it to make sure eyes are fine and to check mental health etc. My health is healthy and weight and all blood tests are fine, i am just worried sometimes as i have done that xray in 5th week of pregnancy.
Where did you get your anomaly scan from.
At this stage what we can do is to get your anomaly scan from an expert like Dr Talha from Hameed Latif Hospital.
Keep on taking folic acid on daily basis
Dear how many weeks pregnant are you now? Any way as you got your x ray with abdominal shield there is very small risk of any defects due to radiation, about mental status and eyes function its cant be judged in uterus.

As per new research there s no harm mean zero harm to the baby if u do x rays with a shield. I would recommend you to avoid doing any unnecesary scanning .

Got anomalies scan from Dr. Talha (Multan) one is the most reputed and expert doctor in scanning. I am under observation of Dr. Ijaz in city hospital in Multan. Recently moved to UK for delivery. but sometimes it make me feel stressed that if x-ray would harm my baby in any way.
Yes, I am having follic acid regular basis.
I am having alphamama plus milk daily.
