Hi doctor I am 29 year old and married, last week I was going for blood donation to one of my friend but my blood test report show I am TP positive. please share some detail about this disease. how it is harmful and what measures can be taken for its cure I was using some vitamin E tablets last week after disease diagnosis. Please share precaution if any

please do proper testing for treponema , that is VDRL testing .Its causes syphilis it is a harmful disease plx take precautions until confirmed that you have it or not .Sometimes screening during blood transfusions can be false positive .So confirmatory test needed.Its sexually transmitted disease.Plz use condom and contraception.
