The given report is of mother and their child is a thalassemia major, the child’s father is also a minor, does these reports also show that the mother is also a minor? Because one doctor was not sure about this report

with Thalassaemia Major child, there is absolute surety that Mother is Thalassaemia Trait. The report may show borderline reault but then they have not shown their upper limit for Hb A2. No need to do further testing. Both parents have to be Thalassaemia Minor if they have Thalassaemia Major child. They now need counselling on what to do next to prevent birth of another T Major child
