Asking For Self, Female 24, karachi
Assalam o Alaikum I am 24 years old, unmarried. I'm 5'7 and 77 kgs in weight I don't look obese and I've been this weight for past 3 years. I have no hormonal issues and my reports come back clear as well. However three years back I visited a Dr and upon vitals being checked my BP was 169/110. I got all my hormones and other relevant blood tests done upon the doctor's query, every test came back normal including cortisol, thyroid etc. We ignored the blood pressure thing later thinking it might be due to the weight. However lately 2 weeks back I visited hospital due to food poisoning and my BP was 160/100, I got my IV came back home, 4 days after I had extreme Vertigo and upon visiting the hospital my BP was 150/110. Doctor asked me to get my tests done, every test came back normal except Urine D/R and My WBC and platelets were slightly raised hence I started the antibiotics for UTI. I went for follow up and again my BP was 189/110. The doctor told my mother that this BP is not normal

this BP is very high and extremely dangerous both in the short run and in the longer run as well. I would strongly suggest you to visit me in clinic for proper evaluation and further management plan or book an online appointment.
there can be many causes of high BP in young adults and have to advise investigations and treatment plan accordingly
