Talk to Infectious Diseases on Covid PCR Report
Asking for Self, Female, 35 years old, Karachi
Problem: Tested Covid -19 positive on 9th Jan. Symptoms started on 7th Jan. Now asymptomatic- only slight cough at times. PCR repeated on 16th and came positive. Question: When to repeat PCR now So I can return to work. My office wants PCR report before I resume.

You can resume your duty after 5 day of your 1st symptoms apparence..as I am working as infectious disease physician.. We have seen a lot patient that test came positive upto 2 months.. So now, you wear mask daily... Transmission time is passed.. Should not worry.. No need further to do pcr again and again... OK dear..
